Last night was the annual Austin Families with Food Allergies (AFFA) night at Dell Diamond. We were very pleased to co-sponsor the event along with a grant from Food Allergy Education & Research (FARE). It was a beautiful night and we had an excellent turnout of 80+ patients, their families and many friends. The pool area was exclusively reserved for our group and no food was permitted. It is a great opportunity for those with food allergies to enjoy a baseball game in a safe environment. A special thank you to Alyssa from the Round Rock Express and Nancy Flores of AFFA for helping to organize and make the evening such a success. There were many winners last night, including the Express, 7-2!
